On Monday 16th December, in partnership with The HUB, Healthy Living Network, The Real Junk Food Project launched the UK's first 'Pay-As-You-Feel' cafe, allowing access to healthy, nutritional food for all, and only accepting a donation in return for it's service.

We finally got round to collecting the apples from the tree at the top of Queenswood Drive, Leeds. They are currently available for anyone to use them, rather than them falling and rotting on the street.

Doomadgee - garden in the desert

So I decided to build a garden in the desert where I can plant all of my sprouted apple, ornage and avacado trees. It's going to take a lot of work to make the ground incredibly fertile, let's see what we can achieve in 8 weeks!

Even in the desert town of Doomadgee, there is plenty of space and resources to grow food. At The Real Junk Food Project, we aiming to leave our mark on this red, dusty town and plant trees and plants for all to benefit from, these range from avacado, apple, pear and orange trees.
